Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has officially unveiled the Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS), Mr. Jerry Adams, as his running mate for the 2027 governorship election, less than 48 hours after Daily Trust exclusively reported that he had settled for a Christian from Southern Kaduna.
The newspaper had reported on Monday that Governor Sani had chosen a Christian running mate from the southern part of the state and identified Jerry Adams as the likely nominee. The governor’s announcement on Tuesday confirmed the report.
In a statement personally signed by him, Governor Sani said the nomination of Adams represents a decisive step in the administration’s vision of building a more united, peaceful and inclusive Kaduna State.
