Los Angeles Dodgers starter Justin Wrobleski spoke about his mistakes in the Dodgers’ 7-5 loss to the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday.
Wrobleski allowed five of the seven runs the Mariners scratched across , allowing four home runs over the course of six innings pitched with seven strikeouts. Prior to Tuesday’s game, Wrobleski had only allowed eight homers over the course of the whole season, and hadn’t allowed more than four in an entire month.
Despite the result and his rocky performance, Wrobleski still saw the positives in his outing while acknowledging his shortcomings.
“I still threw the ball pretty well,” Wrobleski said. “I know that sounds crazy considering the number and the line, but for the most part, I think I did an OK job of the things that are in my control.
