NFL great Julian Edelman views the New England Patriots as being the team in the AFC that will have the biggest target on their back next season.
As a recent guest on Yahoo Sports Daily, Edelman legitimized the Patriots as having been a serious Super Bowl contender last season and stated that New England will be a circled target for opposing teams next season.
“Like, I don't think they got lucky,” Edelman said of the Patriots’ run to the Super Bowl last season. “I think they just kinda, they ran out of it, and they got beat by a team that was ready. So, you know, it's gonna be a big, big year for them this year. …We're gonna see how they handle being a circled target. Now they're America's most wanted on the AFC.”
