It seems that the Bo Nix discourse won't end anytime soon.
Earlier this offseason, Pro Football Focus ranked Nix 19th out of 32 projected starting quarterbacks, and CBS Sports recently listed Nix among the NFL's most overrated quarterbacks .
Jason McIntyre of Fox Sports has now chimed in with his own take on Nix.
"He doesn't throw over the middle — he doesn't want to — and he can't, and he's terrible when he does," McIntyre said while hosting The Herd last Thursday. "It's staggering."
McIntyre also pointed out that Nix ranked 24th in completion percentage (36.7%) and 21st in passer rating (79.8) on passes of 15+ air yards last season. Nix also threw six interceptions on deep throws, tied for the second-most in the league.
"Why doesn't Bo Nix throw to the middle?" McIntyre asked. "Why can't he throw deep?"
"Any thoughts that he's a top 10 QB - I think we need to pump the brakes.…
