No, Caitlin Clark is not in the 2026 WNBA 3-point contest .
The Indiana Fever star was not among the participants the league announced Tuesday, July 21 for Friday's contest at All-Star weekend in Chicago . Clark declined her invitation, USA TODAY first reported . No reason was given.
Clark was not the only player to decline. Minnesota's Kayla McBride also turned down an invitation, according to ESPN.
Reigning champion Sabrina Ionescu is also not taking part, saying she was not invited . The New York Liberty star's 37-point round remains the highest score in the event's history, including the NBA version.
Clark will still be in the main event on Saturday, July 25. She drew 1,023,321 fan votes, second-most in the league, and will captain Team Spoon, named after Hall of Famer Teresa Weatherspoon, in the All-Star Game at 8:30 p.m. ET at the United Center.
