Iowa’s McKenna Woliczko continues to impress in practice

Iowa women’s basketball has some young talent, and that includes McKenna Woliczko.

She is the sixth-ranked incoming recruit in the country, according to ESPN, and she is the highest-ranked recruit under Jan Jensen.

Woliczko is also the sixth Iowa player to earn McDonald’s All-American honors in high school.

For her, the focus is getting adjusted to the college game.

“College is just the next level. Like, we are always doing things. We are constantly running and constantly doing things, but I’m very happy to be here and that was kind of the goal for me. I mean I am pretty skinny for the most part. I need to gain some weight and put on some muscle so that I can compete. Being an open gym it’s quicker and faster but I’m also going flying when Jocelyn (Faison) is hitting me.
