President Bola Tinubu has declared that he's not running away from the challenges his administration inherited from his predecessor, the late former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Tinubu said since assuming office he has been working to turn the tide from the challenges he inherited, stressing that the economy has recovered and is now on a sound footing.
The President made the declaration during his meeting with Catholic bishops at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
According to Tinubu, the days of Nigeria's economy passing through what he termed dark tunnels are over.
Tinubu assured that his administration has armed security agents with the aim of defeating terrorism.
