Henderson open to Chelsea transfer as Blues eye Brentford veteran Jordan Henderson is open to a move to Chelsea this summer as the West Londoners target a move for the Brentford midfielder.
Xabi Alonso is keen to add experience to his youthful squad with Henderson and Brighton forward Danny Welbeck emerging as shock targets.
Henderson made 32 appearances in the Premier League for Brentford last season, after signing from Ajax on a free transfer. However, the Bees are prepared to let the 36-year-old leave as a free agent this summer, with relations between player and club strong.
According to Fabrizio Romano , Henderson is receptive to the move to Chelsea. The midfielder is keen on the prospect of working with Alonso at Stamford Bridge and helping lead an inexperienced dressing room.
