Some yet-to-identified gunmen on Sunday evening shot dead a former Chief Security Officer (CSP) of Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State, Mr. Letam Kine.
The incident has thrown the entire Bori, headquarters of Khana Local Government into panic, as residents have raised concerns over safety of the people in the area.
This is coming barely few days after unknown gunmen suspected to be cultists also killed the Omoku Zonal Commander of the Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area Security Planning and Advisory Committee (OSPAC), Ozomela Stephen Nwaocha, and three women during an attack along Oba Road in Omoku, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The Sunday evening killing at Khana, which occurred along Polytechnic Road in Bori at about 6 p.m. on Sunday, triggered panic in the area as residents and passers-by fled for safety, while shop owners hurriedly shut…
