The San Francisco Giants finally had a reason to celebrate on Friday night.
Rafael Devers delivered a walk-off double in the bottom of the 10th to beat the San Diego Padres , 7-6.
But for spread bettors who had the Giants minus-1.5, it was actually a horrific bad beat.
That's because Devers' double was a ground-rule double, one that bounced over the fence, and it came with the bases loaded.
So that's two runs, right?
Shouldn't he get two RBI? Shouldn't the Giants have won 8-6?
Yeah, normally, except that Luis Arraez didn't make that happen.
