The Boston Red Sox used to have a top-tier farm in the MLB, but it fell off a bit after the Big Three of Roman Anthony, Marcelo Mayer, and Kristian Campbell were promoted, and the pitching duo of Connelly Early and Payton Tolle.
However, their farm has started to build itself up again, as their top prospect and No. 7 in the MLB, Franklin Arias , has been promoted to AAA Worcester. With that in mind, Arias might be knocking on the door of the MLB pretty soon.
Arias raked in AA Arias started this season in AA Portland, and was a monster for the Sea Dogs. In 75 games this season, he slashed .318/.407/.587/.993 with 17 doubles, 19 home runs, and 52 RBI.
