Halladay, the BYU school record-holder in the steeplechase, ran away from the field, beating runner-up Gabbi Jennings by five seconds. Halladay’s time was 9:12.54; Jennings 9:17.42.
Courtney Wayment , another former BYU athlete, placed fifth, in 9:19.90. Lexi Goff, who recently completed her fourth season at BYU, was 11th (9:48.16).
