Florida State men's basketball head coach Luke Loucks continues to shape the foundation of his program, announcing two promotions ahead of the 2026-27 season. The Seminoles announced Wednesday that Kyle Washington has been promoted to assistant coach, while Aiden Malone will serve as the program's new director of basketball operations.
Both staff members were part of Loucks' inaugural season in Tallahassee and have now earned larger roles as Florida State prepares for year two under its new head coach.
Washington moves into an on-court coaching position after spending last season as Florida State's director of video and scouting. Before joining the Seminoles, he was an assistant coach at Iona and also held coaching and player-development roles at Loyola Chicago.
