Fernandes’ £9.5m Image Rights Haul Raises Stakes in United Contract Talks Bruno Fernandes earned over £9 million from image rights during the 2024/25 season, according to accounts filed by his company BF8 Sports – a figure that sits on top of his United wages and underlines just how much the club stands to lose commercially if they allow their captain to run into the final months of his contract.
According to the Manchester Evening News , BF8 Sports – the firm Fernandes founded in 2020, with the Portuguese listed as its only director – generated £9.5 million during the period, up £1.1 million on the previous 12 months. The company also cut costs by 44 per cent, reducing its tax and social security bill by over £200,000, leaving net earnings of £9.2 million.
