Hard-working staff were left 'extremely upset' after a thief stole tips from a popular Cavan diner
The owners of a popular Cavan diner have spoken of their shock after discovering that money had been stolen from their staff tip jar.
Smith's Diner shared an emotional post on social media on Monday evening revealing that someone had taken a €20 note intended for its staff.

The business said the incident was 'extremely upsetting and disappointing', with the stolen money belonging to employees who work hard to provide excellent customer service.
'We were shocked this Monday evening to discover that someone took a €20 note from our staff tip jar,' the post read.
