Former National Coordinator of the National Social Investment Programme Agency, NSIPA, Halima Shehu, has cried out to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over what she described as her continued persecution by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
She made this known in a viral video released on Saturday by ADBN.
In the video, the former NSIPA boss was seen in tears, seeking the President's intervention in her ordeal with the EFCC following her suspension in January 2024 over the alleged diversion of N17 billion in NSIPA funds.
The embattled Shehu also demanded the release of the anti-graft agency's investigative report.
