The Detroit Lions made another roster move following Wednesday’s training camp practice, placing offensive lineman Giovanni Manu on the active/non-football injury list.
Detroit announced the transaction after the team completed its opening camp session in Allen Park. The Lions did not immediately reveal what Manu is dealing with or provide a timetable for his return.
Manu Temporarily Sidelined Players on the active/NFI list can be activated at any point once they pass a physical and receive medical clearance.
The designation does not automatically mean Manu will miss any regular-season games. It does prevent him from practicing until the Lions remove him from the list.
