David Roddy won't be back with the Nuggets for the start of the 2026-27 season despite a strong showing with the Denver NBA team late last season.
The former Colorado State star forward has signed with Hapoel Jerusalem Basketball Club in the Israeli Basketball Premier League.
The 6-foot-5 Roddy is entering his fifth season as a pro after being a first-round NBA pick out of CSU in 2022, starting his career with the Memphis Grizzlies .
Roddy spent most of the 2025-26 season with the Raptors 905 of the G League but signed with the Nuggets in March. Roddy took advantage of his opportunities late in the season as Denver rested most starters for the final games.
Roddy scored 21 points with two rebounds and two steals and was a plus-14 in a win over the defending champion Thunder in the second-to-last game of the regular season. In the regular-season finale against the Spurs, he had 15…
