Photo by Joe Portlock/Getty Images Barstool Sports owner Dave Portnoy has blasted the Governor of Pennsylvania’s decision to introduce LeBron James Day.
James rejected offers from the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors to sign for the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Sixers are now expected to contend for the NBA title with a big four of James, Joel Embiid, Jaylen Brown and Tyrese Maxey.
Having not won a championship since 1983, James’ signing could be the turning point in the 76ers’ modern history .
Governor Josh Shapiro has already decided to celebrate LeBron James Day before he has even made his Philly debut.
