Team Isle of Man's cyclists are about to enter the Glasgow fray [Reuters] Team Isle of Man's cyclists begin their Commonwealth Games campaign later with Matthew Bostock and Ben Swift in action at the velodrome in Glasgow.
We have already seen the Isle of Man's first Commonwealth Games athletics medal, with David Mullarkey earning bronze in the men's 10,000m .
The swimming events have now ended, with 10 Manx records tumbling over six days.
'Proud' Lieutenant Governor Sir John Lorimer, who has been watching the action in Glasgow, said he was proud of Team Isle of Man's efforts so far.
He pointed to Mullarkey's medal as the highlight of the Games to date and said the island was proving it could hold its own on the international sporting stage.
