The Computer Professionals (Registration Council of Nigeria) (CPN) has inducted graduating Computer Science and Computing students from three universities in Ogun State as part of efforts to strengthen professionalism and ethical standards in Nigeria's computing industry.
The graduate induction ceremonies were held at McPherson University, Seriki-Sotayo; Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo; and the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) in July.
The exercise forms part of the Council's statutory mandate to regulate the computing profession and prepare graduates for professional practice by equipping them with the ethical values, technical competence and professional certification required in Nigeria's rapidly evolving digital economy.
