Chelsea avoid points deduction and transfer ban as FA hand down sanction Chelsea have avoided a points deduction and transfer ban after the FA sanctioned the club for rules breaches on Friday.
The Blues were charged with 74 breaches of the FA’s regulations related to agents, working with intermediaries and third-party investment in players.
The west London outfit’s new owners self-reported the breaches to the football authorities in May 2022 after they were discovered during the process of buying the club from Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich.
