CBF changes dates for 5th round of the Women's Copa do Brasil This Monday (27), the CBF announced a change to the base dates for the fifth round of the 2026 Women’s Copa do Brasil. Initially, the matches in this stage were scheduled for August 5 and 19. With the change, the first and second legs will now have October 15 and 22, respectively, as their base dates.
When preparing the Brazilian football calendar, the CBF takes into account the dates previously established by FIFA and CONMEBOL. For the 2026 season, the Competitions Directorate reserved the period from October 15 to 31 for the staging of the CONMEBOL Women’s Libertadores.
As the Brazilian teams qualified for the 2026 Women’s Libertadores are no longer competing in the Copa do Brasil, an opportunity was identified to optimize the Brazilian football calendar.
