Bangladesh have named Litton Das as their new ODI captain, handing the experienced wicketkeeper-batter the responsibility of leading the side in the 50-over format until the 2027 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup.
The appointment means Litton will now captain Bangladesh in both white-ball formats, having already been in charge of the T20I team. He replaces Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who has been relieved of the ODI captaincy as the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) reshapes its leadership group ahead of the next World Cup cycle.
