Bayern ready to trust Arijon Ibrahimović as Luis Díaz backup Kicker’s Frank Linkesch reports FC Bayern are planning to have Arijon Ibrahimović as Luis Díaz's backup for the upcoming season. According to the report, the club decided not to look for alternatives after their target Anthony Gordon joined FC Barcelona instead.
Ismael Saibari, who predominantly plays in a central role, signed after they missed out on the English international. As a result, Ibrahimović could get playing time on the left wing as Díaz's understudy.
FC Bayern bosses are counting on the 20-year-old to seize his maiden chance after three loan deals. After unsuccessful spells in Italy with Frosinone and Lazio, Ibrahimović had a decent season with Heidenheim last term.
