🎥 Bavarian shooting boots! Müller shows MLS stars how to finish Even before his first actual appearance at the MLS All-Star Game, Thomas Müller had already delivered a real highlight in the USA. The 2014 World Cup winner claimed victory in the Shooting Challenge on Tuesday evening — and immediately set a new record in the process.
With a hugely impressive 79 points, the 36-year-old dethroned the previous record holder, Evander (72 points last year). As a reward, the German was presented not only with a golden crown afterward, but also with a fitting place on an oversized throne.
In the precision contest, which is a regular part of the MLS All-Star Skills Challenge, the players have to hit as many targets as possible in and around the goal within a set time limit. Müller showed off his ability with his usual ice-cold composure.
