Barcelona out-of-favour star’s loan exit nears; participation in England camp unlikely
According to Mundo Deportivo , FC Barcelona captain Marc-Andre ter Stegen is edging closer to completing his season-long loan move to AFC Ajax after further progress was made in negotiations over the final details of the agreement.
As previously reported , the German goalkeeper has responded positively to Barcelona’s latest proposal, and there is growing optimism that a deal could be finalised in the coming days, bringing an end to weeks of discussions.
Unlikely to join Barcelona’s England camp
With talks advancing, Ter Stegen, who has been training at the Ciutat Esportiva , is now expected to miss Barcelona’s pre-season camp in England.
The squad is due to travel on Monday to St. George’s Park in Birmingham, where Hansi Flick’s side will remain until 3 August.
