Auburn football head coach Alex Golesh hopes to replicate the same success he has found on the recruiting trail in future cycles. One way he can ensure that is by landing one of the state's top quarterbacks from the 2028 class.
Auburn football has been high on the radar of Gadsden City High School quarterback Sam Sollie for a few months, and the Tigers' persistence could lead to a signature. Rivals' Steve Wiltfong submitted a prediction this week that favors Auburn hauling in the three-star 2028 prospect. Because of Wiltfong's prediction, Auburn's forecast has now skyrocketed to a 94% chance of landing Sollie according to Rivals' Prediction Machine ahead of Sollie's Aug. 8 commitment date.
