Josh Sweat led all Arizona Cardinals pass rushers with 12 sacks last season, and there was a large dropoff after that among the team's outside linebackers. Departed defensive lineman Calais Campbell had 6.5, but the remainder of the edge rushers totaled only 5.5. Baron Browning hade two, Zaven Collins had one and a half, and both Jordan Burch and BJ Ojulari had one.
From that group, the most intriguing is Ojulari. Selected in the second round of the 2023 draft, an assortment of offseason injuries hindered his immediate development, which was followed by a torn ACL suffered early in 2024 training camp.
Last year, additional surgery in June pushed back his availability until Nov. 15 when he was activated from reserve/physically unable to perform.
