The Sentinel continues its America 250 project with another spin on celebrating the history of the Holland area.
We have done the big lists. Now, we are unveiling a Mount Rushmore for each high school, boys and girls, so each school will have four faces. Athletes must be graduated to be considered and this is for high school accomplishments, so club gymnasts are not included in this one.
Fans will be able to vote for the athlete they think is missing (to make it a top 5).
Here is a look at the high school girls Mount Rushmore picks:
Holland High School
Courtney Bartholomew: State champion swimmer is state record-holder, NCAA All-American at Virginia and was American record holder in the 100-meter (short course) backstroke and part of a Team USA world-record relay.
