Students from three Lagos universities went head-to-head last week to design the next generation of clean energy solutions, as All On Partnerships for Energy Access marked ten years of operations with a hackathon that put young innovators at the centre of Nigeria's energy conversation.
Participants from the University of Lagos, Lagos State University, and Yaba College of Technology were organised into six multidisciplinary teams and tasked with developing solutions to real-world energy challenges across healthcare, agriculture, fisheries, cold-chain logistics, and education. Each team had one day to refine their concept before presenting it to a panel of renewable energy and innovation experts.
