Speedball Mike Bailey was a hometown favorite in Montreal in a six-man Ladder Match.
AEW Speedball Mike Bailey secured the contract to become the No. 1 contender for the AEW International champion. He will either face Kyle Fletcher or Bandito in a future title shot.
Six of AEW’s top high-flying stars (Bailey, El Clon, Jungle Jack Perry, Nick Wayne and Komander), with the Beast Mortos as a talented base, battled on Montreal for a chance at the AEW International Championship. This comes on the heels of San Diego Comic Con, where increasingly basic International champion Kyle Fletcher was involved in an embarrassing and terribly acted press conference that was as real as an AEW media scrum.
The win for Bailey sets up what should be an entertaining wrestling match against either Bandito or Fletcher. Bailey and Fletcher have great chemistry dating back to a previous TNT Championship match…
