The college football season is nearing, with the first kickoff on August 29, training camp is starting a month before that, so we’re closing in on the start of fall practices.
Before fall camp begins, the Athletic released a new outlook on the quarterback competitions , to take a look at where every Power Four program stands at the quarterback position with returners looking to leap in that role, or new transfers trying to find their footing within the roster.
The Florida Gators have both Tramell Jones Jr. and Aaron Philo; let's see how they stack up against each other heading into camp.
Aaron Philo is perceived to have the advantage within the quarterback competition due to him following his offensive coordinator from Georgia Tech to Florida, but Philo has yet to start a full season or put enough film on tape to be anointed the favorite outside of that.
