‘Overwhelmingly positive’ – Jose Mourinho’s impact at Real Madrid already being felt
Jose Mourinho’s return to Real Madrid has brought a noticeable change to the training ground, with players already adapting to the high standards and intensity expected by the Portuguese coach.
According to Guillermo Rai in The Athletic , the atmosphere at Valdebebas has been described as “overwhelmingly positive” since Mourinho began work, with the manager combining demanding training sessions with a hands-on approach that has impressed those around the first team.
Despite inheriting a depleted squad because of the FIFA World Cup, Mourinho has wasted little time implementing his methods as he prepares Real Madrid for the new campaign.
