New England Patriots cornerback Carlton Davis reacted to the news about Christian Gonzalez receiving an offer to be the highest-paid corner in the NFL.
When speaking with media members on Saturday, Patriots owner Robert Kraft revealed that the team made Gonzalez an offer to be the NFL's highest-paid corner , which would also make him the highest-paid player in franchise history.
Davis commented on the news after Day 1 of training camp practice. The veteran supported his teammate resetting the market after proving he's one of the best defensive backs in the NFL.
"He's deserving of all of it," Davis told reporters, via MassLive's Mark Daniels.
