James Morrison became West Bromwich Albion's third permanent head coach of last season after a successful stint as interim boss [Getty Images] West Bromwich Albion boss James Morrison has praised the "huge potential" of summer signing Jimmy-Jay Morgan but still wants more squad additions.
Morgan scored twice and provided assists for Albion's other two goals in their 4-1 friendly win at League Two side Shrewsbury Town on Saturday.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder joined the Baggies on a four-year deal from Chelsea last month, but Morrison has urged patience with his progress.
"I've been really pleased with him," Morrison told BBC Radio WM. "He's an exciting young player, and knows where the back of the net is.
"I'm not worried about him with the ball, I've just got to keep on top of him, reminding him of his job without the ball.
"He's young so performances will probably be up…
