[Getty Images] Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount reflected on his side's 5-0 win in pre-season over Rosenborg last Friday and how he "loved" wearing the captain's armband.
On whether he has grown into a leadership role, Mount told BBC Radio Manchester: "You have different types of leaders, you have ones that are very vocal. I always want to see myself as one that leads by example and never stops working on the pitch.
"I've been captain previously years ago. I love the role especially with a lot of younger players on the pitch being able to speak to them and make them feel comfortable in the game and off the pitch as well. It's a role that I really like and loved having it [the captain's armband] in the second half."
Mount added he "feels brilliant" ahead of the new season.
