Leader of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa State, Great Joshua Maciver, has said Governor Douye Diri can not save the All Progressives Congress (APC) from defeat during the state and national assembly elections holding in January 2027 and the 2028 governorship election.
Speaking while receiving defectors from APC to PDP at Elebele Community, Ogbia local government area of the state, Maciver expressed confidence that the PDP would return to power in the state.
He said the return of Comrade Gabriel Claudius, popularly known as ‘one million man' and hundreds of his supporters to the party, has further strengthened PDP and makes it the only formidable party that can win election in Ogbia LGA and Bayelsa as a whole.
He urged party faithful to remain committed and prepare for the political contest ahead, describing politics as requiring determination, hard work and sustained…
