Our collaboration can defeat terrorism, Tinubu tells North East leaders

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has urged leaders of the North East to sustain collaboration with the federal government, saying joint efforts can end terrorism and banditry in the region.

Speaking on Thursday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, while receiving governors and prominent leaders from the region, Tinubu said his administration remained committed to improving security and infrastructure.

The delegation was at the Villa to thank the president for retaining Vice President Kashim Shettima as his running mate for the 2027 presidential election and pledged to deliver the North East for the APC.
